Denver Crites is a Singer Songwriter, originally from rural Illinois.
After a few years polishing and honing his quirky and eclectic performance style in Nashville TN, he and his wife ventured east, finding themselves in the Carolinas where they have been slowly turning a part-time gig into a full-time adventure.
Whether Crites is putting a new twist on a Rock and Roll classic from the 60's, 70's and 90's, or sharing an original (with roots in Americana, Rock-a-billy, and Blues), he is sure to offer up a vivacious performance that will inspire even the most apathetic listeners to sing or tap along to! His unique vocal and guitar styles set his original songs in a category of their own!
Denver has had the opportunity to work with the late Grammy award-winning producer Milan Bogdan, as he captured his portrayal of Jimmie Rodgers, on the Soundtrack of “The Mockingbird Sings”. Crites has also done voice acting and recorded vocals in studios throughout Nashville, including Nashville Songstudio, Chubby Bunny Studios, Tragic City Productions, and Gene Breeden Studios.
