SUNDAY SUPPER
WE HOPE TO SEE YOU AT OUR SONGWRITER SHOWCASE/OPEN MIC SERIES!
YOUR HOSTS:
-
NATHAN DOWDY
Over the past decade, Nathan’s musical journey and endeavors have led him to engage in diverse projects spanning a multitude of genres such as Folk, Rock, Americana, Indie, R&B, Pop, and Classical, among others. A particularly gratifying highlight was the recognition of his contributions to the Americana genre with two Grammy nominations. These nods were a result of collaborative efforts with his co-producer Jordan Minor and the talented artist Mason Zgoda.
-
DENVER CRITES
Denver Crites is a Singer Songwriter, originally from rural Illinois. After a few years polishing and honing his quirky and eclectic performance style in Nashville TN, he and his wife ventured east, finding themselves in the Carolinas where they have been slowly turning a part-time gig into a full-time adventure.
-
JOHN DAVID TICE
John David Tice is a multi-instrumentalist located in the Charlotte Metro region of North Carolina. Born and raised in Georgia, John got his start in Atlanta performing live and in the studio. John moved to Charlotte in 2015 where he continued and expanded his work. John is currently playing solo shows and appearing with The HWY. John has several upcoming projects including a solo EP and an album with This Ambiguous We. DAVID CHILDERS
Singer-songwriter David Childers is the proverbial study in contradictions. A resident of Mount Holly, North Carolina, he’s a former high-school football player with the aw-shucks demeanor of a good ol’ Southern boy. But he’s also a well-read poet and painter who cites Chaucer and Kerouac as influences, fell in love with folk as a teen, listens to jazz and opera, and fed his family by practicing law before turning in his license to concentrate on his creative passions. here

We're all about celebrating original music, but hey, we've got room for some cool covers too! To spice things up, we encourage performers who wish to play a cover to share the story behind the song and why it holds a special place in their hearts.
And don’t forget to bring your own dinner to enjoy, or make enough to create a fun potluck with your neighbors!
