In 2015, Elonzo Wesley emerged as the brainchild of singer-songwriter Jeremy Davis. Initially a solo endeavor, the project has evolved into a versatile string band. Elonzo Wesley boasts a musical portfolio comprising two EPs, namely "To Be True" and "This Ain’t No Country Song," a live album titled "Live at the Evening Muse," and two full-length albums. The most recent addition to their discography is "Songs To No One," released in 2019, coinciding with extensive national tours.

Raised in South Carolina as the son of a farmer, Davis's upbringing amidst the woods and fields of the lowcountry profoundly influenced Elonzo Wesley's music. The simplicity and connection to the land inherent in Americana are evident in the band's creations—a sentiment beautifully articulated by NPR's Joni Deutsch as "a beautifully poignant dance of Appalachian strings and soul."
